Project objectives

This project aims to ensure the survival of various lemurs in the Bemanevika and Mahimborondro Protected Areas by improving the scientific knowledge of the species. It also aims to reduce environmental pressure, such as poaching, illegal logging and forest fires, which will be done through awareness-raising, capacity building and regular community patrols.

This project is implemented by The Peregrine Fund.
