Project objectives
- Stabilise and increase the Liben Lark’s population through conservation measures that also benefit the local community;
- Focus on the local pastoral community by engaging with relevant stakeholders and making them understand the socio-economic and governance issues of managing the grasslands;
- Develop the capacity of local civil societies so they can implement effective grassland management and engage their broader community.
This project is implemented by The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
