Project objectives

This project aims to monitor threatened seabirds in the Addo Elephant National Park by providing capacity support and additional funding that were interrupted by the financial constraints brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes hiring seven new staff members that will increase monitoring patrols, rescue and rehabilitate injured, abanoned or sick birds, and intervene in case of oil spills.

This project is implemented by Wilderness Foundation Africa.
